Customer Care
The Customer Service Section was established in March 2003 after realising the need to have a dedicated team at a corporate level to handle:
Customer Inquiries:
- Customer complaints.
- Customer suggestions.
- Staff orientation in the area of customer care.
Other duties include:
- Educate customers about the different services offered by Posta Uganda.
- Directing and guiding customers to the different service units and ensure that they are attended to in time.
- Handling all wrongly addressed letters and registers.
- Assisting customers to confirm the delivery of their items sent abroad and also to confirm arrival of their mail.
To make sure that the above duties are executed promptly and efficiently, a fully-fledged Customer Service Centre was set up at the GPO posting hall, where customers are able to make inquiries and are attended to promptly.
Plans are underway to have similar centres established at our up country regional offices as soon as possible.
